Presents aren’t just for Christmas and birthdays!
Wrapped items are great enrichment for dogs, especially those dogs whose natural drive is to do brain surgery on their soft toys!
It’s important to teach your dog that they are only allowed to tear open items you have given them. We don’t want them to unwrap all the presents under the tree, just theirs!
Be mindful of the paper used, that it isn’t likely to cut your dog’s mouth and as soon as they are done with unwrapping the items, remove the packaging to prevent them from ingesting it.
