Dedicated to Dogs offers a one off class specifically designed for children aged 6 to 12. Our classes provide a safe and interactive environment where kids can learn essential dog training skills, obedience, tricks all while having a blast. Why choose Dedicated to Dogs? Experienced Trainers: Our instructors are certified dog trainers. Our fantastic instructor Emma is a registered Kids and Dogs trainer. She is passionate about teaching kids the proper techniques and principles of dog training, ensuring a positive and effective learning experience. Kid-Friendly Curriculum: Our curriculum is tailored to suit the needs and abilities of young learners. We focus on age-appropriate commands, basic obedience, and understanding dog behaviour. Through engaging activities and games, we make sure that the kids have a great time while learning valuable skills. Safety First: At Dedicated to Dogs, safety is our top priority. We teach children how to interact with dogs in a safe and respectful manner, emphasising the importance of gentle handling and reading canine body language. Our trainers are skilled in managing different dog breeds and temperaments, ensuring a secure environment for both kids and dogs. Life Lessons: Dog training classes provide children with more than just training skills. They also learn valuable life lessons such as responsibility, patience, empathy, and teamwork. These qualities can positively impact their relationships with animals and people alike. Positive Reinforcement: We believe in positive reinforcement as an effective training method. Our trainers use rewards and praise to motivate and encourage the kids, creating a positive and enjoyable learning environment. Graduation and Achievement: All kids attending earn certificates to celebrate their achievements. £20 per class plus £2 booking fee. All children must be accompanied by an adult who must be present at all times. The adult should handle the dog unless instructed to do so. This is for the health and safety of all individuals, including the dogs. Any dog attending should be social and not have shown any aggression towards people or other dogs. Dogs should not be allowed to mix unless instructed to do so. It is the responsibility of the owner of each dog to make sure they have adequate insurance.
